I have one that should hatch on the 29th-- so here in just another week or so. The rest will hatch a day later. (I got a little excited to put that one in the incubator!) LOL

is it just me... or does seeing other peoples silkie pictures make you want more? lol

not to mention reading all you guys talk about hatching ... well it sure does make me want to hatch my own eggs... can't wait for my girls to go broody! or until my husband buys me an incubator

My new Partridge babies I got today from a very nice BYC member

They arent the best pics but it was dark out when we brought them home so I had to hold them and take some. Cause ya know I couldnt just wait til morning.. That would be just too hard!! lol

Rookie - #1 I am quite sure is a girl by the coloring. she is a Non-bearded so she will get waddles and probably a decent sized comb, but I'd bet 5$ its a girl
