Silkie thread!

At what age can a chicks beak give you an idea as to what sex it is? Mine are only 2wks old and I know how difficult it can be when it comes to sexing these little beauties. Some of them appear to have "boy beaks" and some that appear to have "girl beaks". My blue chick has a total girl beak! Just curious.
I am getting the itch to hatch another dozen....

I'm a silkie noobie, what is the difference in a boy's beak and a girl's beak?

Quote: If you are like me, you will start losing sleep as soon as you see the first pip! I was exhausted by day 22! But I wanted to watch as many hatch as possible. It was so hard to watch them struggle out of the eggs. But we were talking to them and encouraging them and then clapping and cheering as soon as one would get all the way out. Very fun! I do think I am ready for my silkies to take care of business for me next year though. Fun, but too stressful! Have a great time watching!

I picked out my silkies today! Here's what I got
