I woke up and one black lav slplit [CJ silkies] was out, still damp, and one white [The Gerry farm] is mostly out! Plus a pip on another white's egg. Wooooohoooooooo!!

The white that mostly out zipped in the middle of the egg [it was a small egg] and a foot and wing are out. They've been out long enough that they're dry. Help!! I want to help it but I know I can't. If the leg stops kicking and the chick seems to be tiring out, should I ??!!

It would be helpful if you could take a picture where we can actually see their combs and wattles (if they have any). Hard to tell what they are with all the fluff covering everything.

That's if you were trying to find out if they are boys or girls?

We have 17 hatchery chicks (2 weeks old today) in our backyard. 6 of them are Silkies and I noticed today that one of the white Silkies has two toes that are completely grown together on both feet. I guess I had been paying more attention to their butts since a few had pasty butt and didn't notice the toes until this morning. They're bad enough that I know there is nothing I can do at this point. Will the chick be okay? S/he doesn't seem hindered in any way - s/he keeps up with the other 16 just fine but I don't know if s/he'll always be that way? I did a search for this on here and only came up with one other person with the same issue but there were no comments on the post. Here are some pictures:

Thanks in advance!
