HI!!

Good luck! I don't want to sound too negative but I have never had a detached air cell egg hatch. I didn't turn the turner off though so maybe that's the key. I hope so!

I'm so happy over this girl. She's definitely my keeper for the year.

I've named her Mia, and I'm almost certain it's a girl, so hope SHE doesn't change.

Anyway, I wanted to ask about her color.
Is she considered lavender/self blue?
She looks almost white half the time. Here's some pictures from today.

I had eight babies hatch from my BBS pen. What do you think about these colors?
There are three splash, two blues, one black, a chipmonk and a porcelain/buff. The parents are blue, black and splash, so where did these other colors come from?

Are you wondering if porcelain breed true? Since they carry the lav gene, I doubt it. I would think that you would get some porcelain and some lavender and porcelain come in different shades. Some are very pale and some almost look like blue partridge.
I guess I was wondering how big or small my chances are of getting a porcelain chick out of my single porcelain egg. I'll just keep all my fingers and toes crossed for a nice porcelain!

That would nice!!
Can't wait to see your Catdance lavs Peep!
Then that makes two of us! lol

This is Sunny a 3mo I have.. :)
I absolutely LOVE his color. Very handsome.

Oh dear...got my magnifying glass and my son, who's my other magnifying glass....and, one of the little cone heads has two downward facing 5th toenails;
the other has one. Both of their outer toes look funky--sticky looks like his outer toes are almost two toes thick, maybe even 2 toes, one fused to the top of the other. One of the other chicks has one backward facing 5th toenail...so, that leaves me with one chick with correct toes. That was one expensive chick....

A backward facing toenail isn't a problem unless it's an extra toenail. :)

She definitely looks self-blue! Great name for such a pretty girl!
