Yes that would be wonderful.
Any color just as long as she is a she, we don't want a roo
Then we would have to rehome.. No fun.. My hubby would
have a hard time.. I am still waiting for a bit to find out if we
happen to have one or two roo's.. Our "girls" are lonly a few
weeks old.. We want enough eggs to be able to share
with others.. Since we are raising them together less stress
on them when they are younger to grow up.. I have heard
that?

For a while I had 1 roo, 1 cockeral and 3 hens together and it worked at first but the longer they were together the more I realized the poor girls were being over bred by the boys. Sure the fertility was high but the girls physically suffered because of it so I seperated the boys out as soon as I could.

I think the first 3 are boys. Pretty certain on the first and third but the second hard to tell with poor view of the wattles. But the first 1 I am 100%!

Sonoran- Why do you think the first one is a girl? I have never seen a pullet or silkie hen with wattles and a comb that large at that age....Is there something I am missing as well as the original poster?
