Silkie thread!

I'm Jealous! LOL I would love to take a trip down there to see her setup. I will definitely be getting some pullets or hens at some point from her, I LOVE her silkies. I feel bad for my little silkie roo being all alone. Fingers crossed I can move him in with my LF chicks that are nearly as big as he is right now, so he has some company.

I could bring back a girlfriend for him!

Buff partridge girl @ 7 weeks or so
How do you know this one is a girl at 7 weeks of age??

Very nice!!
We have a red, & partridge..
When they bump chest, does that mean
ROO??
Our red has no feathers on her feet..I am bummed
Not for show quality or breeding just for my own
personal like's..
Do they ever come in late?
I read somewhere in this topic that the pullets stop chest bumping at 9-8 weeks if I remember right. How old are your chickies?
For the foot feathers, I'm pretty sure if they don't have any, they probably won't get any later on.

I just love my boy "Darkness" ~ He just get's cuter and cuter to me...

DO YOU THINK HE IS A BLUE? HE HAS CARMEL COLOR COMING IN ON HIS CHEST AND BACK OF THE NECK BUT HE ALSO HAD THE SHINY BEETLE GREEN.

I got some new photos of my unwanted auction silkie babies. Toe spacing looks good but its the feathering that concerns me. Also the orange hue they have on their heads...

Ms. Rumpy was not happy about me doing a photo shoot for these two, guess that means they won't be competing on this season of Toddlers in Tiaras...

Chick no. 1. She (

) is a little smaller than the other one.

I like the pose in that pic ^

Chick no. 2.
slightly bigger and very talkative.

Is the orange hue in the image below "normal" for white birds? It's been a while since I hatched...

Awwww I wish you were closer to me!! I love my two silkies !!

I have two silkies who i have kept in a large rabbit cage for a few weeks. And I will go up before i put my chickens up and let them out but each time the run to me because our turkey steps on them and pecks them and the other chickens just chase them and peck them as well. I know they have a ecking order but I'm nervous to put my silkie pair in with em. Any reccomendations?

I will be moving to the Canton, Ohio area, so it will be closer than NC. I have 16 now? I had to sell off a few because of the move but I got to keep my whites. I have more whites than anything right now. They look like cotton balls running around the yard after bugs and the perfect blades of grass!

. Oh yes, please..
Love the photos!!
We tried to post with iPad with no avail..
When I tried to do so via, turning on our old
huge computor, which took forever...
Again with no avail!!
They were working on their web site...
So I am sure by now I could do it.. I will have
to down load the ap for my iPhone & do it from
there.. So we hope to post photos in the next
few weeks... Our "girls" are only 8 weeks old...
Thank you all for your advice...:D
