Silkie thread!

Love these, love these, I have tried and tried in hatching eggs, to get a partridge, just didn't happen for me. Well, a very sweet kind lady brought me a Partridge today. Now, I'm not sure if they are called frizzled, or sizzled..? Any ol way, I have a Partridge Silkie with curly feathers. I just have to post pictures sometime soon.
YEAH! CONGRATS AND PLEASE POST PICTURES

Yep! Not with my silkies - as they seem to get around no problem and aren't paranoid that things are following them like my houdans.
Here is my Gigi sporting his new hairdo. He instantly felt better when I put his hair back, and I didn't want to cut his pretty crest before a show.

Try not to tie it too close to the bottom.
Ooo la la! lol....pretty cute all right!

I do that so soak them in like a skin soothing shampoo, but I normally wash with straight shampoo and rinse with the running water. Mine will sometimes put their heads down, so I only do it when I'm standing there. Otherwise if they are just sitting in straight shampoo I can walk away and let them sit for a few minutes.
I will soak mine the next time because my white silkies feet are so dirty. Thanks :p

She is a trip. Some days she is very lovable and other days she runs and hides from me. I wish I had a blue partridge boy to put with her when she starts laying but I guess my partridge boy Sam will have to do.
This is Sam, he will be my boy with Lola or my Colombian roo Animal will have to go with her, might try both to see what we get. Her coloring is so different from any other silkie that I have
