Yay, that looks exactly like my lil Snookie. i see those little feather pods on her wings and feet. but her head is fully grown in. wonder if the feather pods are something that she will have for ever or grow out of them. i was told she was 2 years old. but i am doubting anything i was told from the seller.

Thank you to those who gave me answers and thank you for the pictures in particular, that helps. Our little Silkie is a strangely colored little thing. She's brown on the head but charcoal everywhere else (or so I thought). Now she's growing in some really light grey on her wings and some darker black as well. Neat watching them grow 'feathers' although they still look like fur on her and not feathers lol

does anyone have a hen who is just a smaller girl, I got two chicks at about2 1/2 months old. They have been healthy and I treat for Cocci every few months, my one black hen is so petite. The other chick who turned out to be a roo is full sized she is about 2/3 the size of my other hens which is not way smaller but significantly different. She is now about 6 months old is she done growing? She is the sweetest girl ever. And hangs with the roo I got her with, she is really sweet and gentle. Just curious if she is just going to be smaller.

I like the mottled. A plain lavender would be fine with me too.
