Silkie thread!

Thank you so much :D
and thank you as well!
Yep. Edna. That's perfect! Done. Sealed. I thought you said Maudine, which is really cool too. Going to add that one to the list for someone that fits it.
The cross is very cute. :)
Royal Palm :D Thanks!
Ahhaha :D It's all good! Love sharing my pictures. He's a handsome fella. He knows it too ;)
:thumbsup

Yeah the only other person with SL is the woman I got him from so unless I ship some I won't be able to breed the SLs. But if I breed him to my splash, and then breed those to my buff(ish) or vice versa, I may be able to get some interesting beauties!

Here is my hatchery Polish- I don't think her feathers are lace well enough to show. You'd have to look closely. The other one had a crossed beak and was a total mess.

So that I don't get into trouble for not making it Silkie related...she doesn't hang with the Silkies. :)
Cutieeeeee all stylin' and struttin'

Phyllis wasn't in the picture mood.

The partridge boy. Still all pin feathers in his beard and crest. No crowing or mating attempts yet. He's 24 weeks old now.

It's just about time this little one got a name.. I need something really fitting. She's a pretty girl

This one is 14 weeks old I believe.. Yeah.. Pretty sure.. Also pretty sure it's a girl. There are two boys out of these ones, and their combs are obvious. This one has no comb at all.

You have some real interesting Partridges! They are all so different. Is this last picture a Partridge too? I am also a Phyllis Fan.

Cindy and Pam...I MIT be going I will just have to see...it would be good to say hi as well...
Ooo that would be sooooo much fun!!! I didn't get a chance to talk to you all that much Darrin at the other show so it would be good to catch up on our new chicks. Pam was at the Calhoun show but she left before I got there. Did you two meet? Anyways...let's all keep in touch as it is a week from this Saturday. Bantam Party in the hood.

Shoutout to my fellow Silkie peeps........

If anyone has any Silkies from BethG (Beth Gaetano Farm) from Connecticut, we need your help.
Last week, while attending a show in Ohio, some Mink/Weasel/horrific beast got into her barn and murdered 51 of her birds.

She is looking for people that purchased birds from her, to try and replace her breeding lines.

If you, or anyone you know has any of her Silkies, she is willing to buy them back to continue her hard work and dedication to the breed.
Especially her Partridge, and White colors.

Thank you in advance for any help, or leads you can come up with.

You can PM me, she hasn't been on BYC much with all the cleaning up and rebuilding that needs to be done.
