Silkie thread!

This whole thing just makes me want to cry. I have a huge ton on my plate right now and I am majorly stressed out. I really dont have ti energy for this!

besides mereks what else could it be for a disease that they could be carrying but don't show symptoms? Also, Would they start to show symptoms in about a weeks time of being exposed?

My little Grey Silkie pair were getting stinky and their crests were getting incrusted. So I brought them inside, plopped them one by one into a sink of warm water and cleaned the crests, bums, and feet. Then an hour in front of the heater and a blow dry. Followed by a hair cut around the eyes and bum. They fell a sleep in the warm goodness of my care. Looking and smelling so much better.

I love giving silkies baths, they look so nice after they re-fluff!

yes. Avian influenza maybe? do any of the ones that are acting strange have any runny noses?
not that I know of. I went out to check on Henrietta becuse she wasn't outside with the others. She was roosting and it was broad daylight. :( I have a funny feeling that she'll be gone in the morning. If it is mareks, there is nothing I can do, right? I don't know which were vaccinated and which were not. I got most at the feed store, but some I got from someone who orders from Ideal.
