i have what might be a strange problem, just got a gorgeous breeding pair of golden silkies five days ago, the hen is a bantam and really quiet, unfortunately our cat connie is showing a little too much interest in her for my liking. they're still in a pen for now till my other hens are used to them but i have a bad feeling that connie will kill her once i let them out.she's never even looked at my bigger feathered hens, whenever she's scared she hides under the cock but being a silkie he's fairly quiet so not sure if anything happened he would be much use. i would hate to have to keep her penned up while everyone else gets to free range their must be other options! any advice greatly appreciated!
