Silkie with 9 chicks! Updated PICS!!!!

YAY so my silkie hatched her 9 babies today morning there were like 16 eggs under her, but 4 were unfertile and 2 quit at some point and two didnt hatched for some reason even tho they were fully developed chicks. Anyways she still has 9 babies and Im really happy with those My question is will she be able to keep all nine warm at night I mean shes really small and the chicks are kind of big even tho there silkies too. What should I do, Should I take some away from her and leave her the rest or should I just let her do the parenting?

I don't know anything about raising chicks that were hatched by a hen... but congratulations! 9 little silkies- you'll have so much fun. Post pictures please!!

I bet she can keep them all warm! I have a chicken setting on 19 eggs right now, she keeps them all warm

She'll do fine with 9 babies. My silkie has been raising 6, and she could have handled more. They're a month old now, and still fit under her.
