Silkie with four toes?

I bought four silkie chicks a couple weeks back...They are so cute! My question is one is quite a bit larger than the others and only has four toes---Can silkies only have four toes? Does this mean it's a cross or just poor quality breeding?

Yes, they can have 4 toes or sometimes even 6. It just means it's a pet quality bird. If it has other qualities that don't appear to be Silkie, it's possible that it could be a cross.

I figured it meant pet quality. They don't look like crosses to me, but I don't have much experience at all.
