Silkie With Pecked Eye...

I was a fool and thought my little silkies could go into the coop with my other pullets.

This is the result.

I pulled them both immediately and they are back in my basement. Eating and drinking...totally fine.

This is the same pullet with my little boy..

But I'm wondering what I should do for that eye? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar situation with a black cochin hen last winter. Her eye got infected from the peck so i rinsed the goop off of it 3 times a day and used terramycin eye ointment on it for 1 week. She does have permanent damage to her eye from the peck but it kicked the infection. Give her eye a saline flush a few times a day and try getting some of that terramycin eye ointment, i believe you can find it online or perhaps your TSC has it. Poor little cutie I hipe she gets better soon
