Hello!
A friend of mine has a silkie with terrible wry neck. It presented itself early on as a chick, they have tried many things to help the poor chick. They've done the vitamins and nutrients route, which worked for a bit and then wry neck came back. They tried stronger meds and changed the food, which again seemed to help for a bit. Now it's back! They feel at a loss. The chicken is constantly upside down but still able to eat and drink on its own.

Any suggestions??

Sometimes Wry Neck can be chronic. Silkies seem to be more prone to neurological problems since they have a hole in the skull, this may be something they have to deal with for however long she lives.

I don't know of anything they can do but offer supportive care giving 400IU Vitamin E and 1/4 tablet B-Complex. Give a little egg daily to help with the uptake of E.

You can find the vitamins in the vitamin aisle of Walmart, CVS, etc.
