This is our silkie chick. Any guesses on gender?

Too young at the moment, and Silkies are generally slower developing. Please post pics of whole body, crest, and comb with crest pulled back,at 12 weeks.
Will do! Thank you!

This is our first silkie. Holding my breath that she is a she! Since these photos were taken, she has sprouted a few feathers - a tuft on her tail and two tufts on the chest - reddish feathers. She's so mild and lazy compared to the other breeds in the brooder with her!

First time outside today. (Approx. 5 weeks.)

I have a silkie as well. Not sure if she is a she either. I’d say she is about 8-9 weeks here. What do you think?

It's very young to sex a silkie but, her comb is pretty big for that age. I'd keep that in mind as the chick develops. Maybe she(?) will grow into it. ????
