Silkie?

Being the apparent addict that I have become, I went for bedding and came back with 4 more ducks and 4 more chicks. Banties. I am still learning breeds...is this not likely a silkie? If it is I am SO excited. Our local stores do not supply them very often.

Sorry, that's not a sillkie. It does have feathered legs though.

Well darn. What other breeds have such dramatic feathering on the feet?

A) booted bantam, Mille Fleur in color OR
B) buff brahma bantam
But I'm leaning toward the booted bantam. My reasoning for that is the way the feathers are quite heavy and going outwards.

Terrific info. Thank you for such a quick answer! Never heard of it but like I said...new to this lol. It is crazy looking! You can barely see feet under there but I adore this lil fuzzball!​

Oh thank you! The females are every bit as beautiful. My females are VERY friendly and the boy you see stays a respectful distance but will eat out of the feed scoop when I hold it.
