We got our little silkie hen some eggs to hatch out. Her mate was born with club feet and cannot mount her correctly. They tried so hard to have chicks, we finally got her some fertilized eggs. Three of them hatched and now mama and papa silkie are raising their three chicks. We keep them indoors in the cold weather. Come Spring, the family will go outdoors in the daytime, but come inside at night. I think you should definitely get your Silkie some eggs to hatch out. She would be a very happy little hen.
