I'm getting a day old Silkie today and I will need some help on how to go about it because I've done just Brahmas in the past and still on it. Thanks for your kind response

Just one? Do you have any other chicks for it to grow up along side?
Oh good. Well I've never had Silkies but they're still just chicks. A little more delicate maybe, and a little more sensitive to temperatures due to their feathering.
Just do exactly what you did with the Brahmas except be more gentle (not that you wouldnt be anyway) with them because they are tiny. Also dont bring anything from outside into their cage because when they are little they can be VERY susceptible to diseases. They might need the heater in just a tad more because their feathers mean they lose heat easily.I'm getting a day old Silkie today and I will need some help on how to go about it because I've done just Brahmas in the past and still on it.
