Who wants a laugh? OK, so, one day it started pouring down rain outside, and like normal chickens, they all went into the coop. But then, sadly, the coop door fell shut, and my little silkie chicken was locked out in the rain D: i literally love my chickens (prob cause i don't have friends, jk) so i ran out into the thunder storm and brang the chicken inside. She was literally DRENCHED, and i was scared that she would get sick due to the rain and cold, yadda yadda yadda. So my mom decided it would be cute to take a picture, and then i went and blow dried the hen. when i finished, i literally couldn't stop laughing, her feathers were fluffed out and she looked like a cotton ball. To make it better, my mom then took a picture of the chicken all floofed up, and then she posted the two picture together on her work website, since she is a hairstylist, as a before-after picture. Talk about hair salon advertising XD
(excuse my poor grammar lol)

Aw your poor little silkie! I bet she looked so cute and funny after her bath!

My silkies get left out sometimes too. They're so tiny and they hide very well. :)

I sometimes like to throw in some leftover veggies and stuff for my chickens, and whenever i do, my silkie literally jumps in and takes the first bite. I kind of wondered about this cause my favorite chicken, Ruffie, is the leader of the pecking order, and almost always the first to eat. I kind of like to imagine that the other chickens are making Joyco, the silkie, eat first so that they know the food wont bite back :) but when they all do join in, ive seen then devour a whole corn cob and leave nothing bit an inch of the middle left.... weird chickens, weird......
