The micro bokkins found this while outside today and are now busy chasing each other around the brooder for it.

It's a burr or prickle. It's actually about the size of their beaks

They gave up on it after about an hour. It's too big for them to actually swallow and they couldn't break it, but it was fun watching one grab , then a couple chase, then it got dropped and someone else picked it up over and over

Looks like streaks thought that she should sleep with shadows in the nest instead of on the roost with everyone else,

I don't know yet. Streaks only joined when everyone went in to roost for the night. Hopefully KC keeps laying for me and doesn't join the nest. 3 of them wouldn't fit well
