Lady Jane died this morning
It was so sudden! She was perfectly fine this morning when I went out. I picked her up and let her warm up in my coat, since she's always so cold in the mornings. Then my littlest sister found her almost completely limp and gasping for air. She brought her inside, and at first we thought her neck was broken, but it isn't. She died in my dad's armsIt was tragic. There's no other word to describe watching something die
I think maybe she choked on a big piece of corn, but I didn't give them any this morning. Then I realized that the last two chickens that died from EYP were almost completely extended, like they had completely freaked out when they died. Jane was flipping all over the counter, that's for sure
