SILKIED SERAMAS WORSHIP THREAD

Pics
I'm guessing you mean this guy (not our Serama, Teddy)
He was our all-time fav rooster who's sadly no longer with us.
"Mr Dummy-Pants" showed everyone just how loving & special a rooster could be..... and also why you should not let your little kids name the rooster. We have tiny seramas and giant Orpingtons (imported English bloodlines, so they're much larger/rounder than most Orpingtons)

yEs. THAT IS THE GIANT ROOsTeR. Good god he's huge. He looks like such a wonderful, sweet boy. I'm sorry that he's passed. Also, A++ parenting, letting the chickens inside. I wish my parents would let me do that.

The chickens sometimes "visit" the house. A towel on the lap is required, but it's really only the chicks that frequently poop on people. The adults seem to hold it and if they begin to stand up, then we know it's time to "go" outside.

Teddy is the exception. He's pretty much a house-chicken who "visits" outside.
DD even got him a mini harness & leash. It's funny because he's never more than 2' away from her and follows her everywhere.
