Yesterday when I was out with the chickens the Silkies were talking a little bit so I went to see who it was ... and well it was the boy which probably means he is getting ready to crow soon.... Anyways, as I was looking at the boy out of the corner of my eye I saw THE BOY! Oooops .... Not so FAST!!!! Say my Silkies...... One of the 2 other Blues is indeed a boy

I have just purchased 3 grey silkies 14 weeks old- how do I tell if they are in fact hens?? I've heard it's harder to tell them apart until they are older. Is this true?? What do I look for o tell the difference? Sorry I'm new to owning silkies.. Thank you
