Here is a pic of the three silkies I just got this afternoon thanks to a BYC member helping me out. They look like me in the mornings!!

I originally went after keets but fell in love.

The baby keets are much younger but are cuddling with these silkies.

THey look about the same age of mine! Same color too. Ther are adorable!!!! I just love when they get their feathers on their head, isn't that hilarious???

Bed head! I love that. ha ha Karri, what colors do you call these? I know I have a white, hope it stays that way. But I don't know what colors the others are? Black/gray/blue?? Will they change? I have never had silkies before.

Oh , thats really cool! I have 3 black/brown silkies too!!! And, they look the same exact age. . .

Alex, how old are yours? he never told me how old mine were when I bought them today.I am hoping they are blues. They have a lot of gray feathers but some charcoal colored ones, too.
It is now 9 p.m. and I just went in to check on them. They are all together in the same box now. My 4 week old guinea, six-one week old keets and three silkies, age unknown. They are all snuggled together. The older keet has the smaller ones under it's wings as do the silkies. They are different ages and getting along beautifully. It is so sweet to see them like that. I gave them some yogurt mixed with their food as a bedtime snack. They seem to need the extra nourishment as the silkies seem pretty skinny.
