would it be ok to have silkies bantams and like 2 easter eggers together?? would the EEs pick on the smaller silkies? I love the green eggs of EEs but love the silkies too
Any advice would be great

I have all my standards and Bantams in the same pen, and they do just fine together! Go for it! Your bantams may not be able to eat some of the food that you give your Standards, you may have to grind it up or something! Good Luck!

I've read that the silkies will do just fine with larger ones. I have 2 silkies right now, in a few weeks I'm giving the broody some EE, Orp, and Maran chicks.... so they had better!

I only have a small flock of 5. They are 2 silkies, 2 RIRs and 1 EE. They all do great together and eat all the same food.

Good luck

Not sure about others but in my flock my EE are the most timid. They seem to be the lowest in the pecking order, not that they get picked on just that the are the first to move out of the way of the others.

I had a mixed group with no problems until winter. Then boredom set in.
I had to move the two silkie hens to their own coop. I now have
1 silkie roo, 3 white crested polish bantams, 2 orpingtons and 6 EE's
all together. Half are being pecked. The rooster worst of all. I am not
sure if it is an orpington or an EE who is to blame.

I think it depends on the temperament of your birds and how much room they have. My Ameraucanas and EEs are very easy going birds and I have no trouble integrating chicks as young as 6 weeks (given several weeks exposure on the other side of the fence, of course).
