Silkies and hatching eggs

Im looking into purchasing 2 silkie hens and a rooster. The only ones i have been able to find are about a year old and havent been broody yet. Does this mean they probably wont go broody this summer? I want them to hatch eggs themselves.

My Silkies went broody the 1st time at about 5 months. I now have 4 broody Silkies. Just wait - I'm waiting for mine to get un-broody and start laying again.
