They were such cute little fuzzy butts!

Here they are today! starting to look pretty again lol.

Love the coop! Be prepared for that grass to be gone in a week though,lol. Mine go crazy for grass!!!


So jealous of your silkies. Short of ordering some from a hatchery, I cant seem to get any here!!!

hey, thats a great coop. my husband has his work cut out for him. my girlfriend and I just picked up our new batam silkies. OMG!!!! I so love them. They are blue and splash and buff. twelve of them to be exact. We now have 18 5wk old hens of different sorts, 5 3wk. old ducks, 2yr. old chickens and 2 roosters. we have now officially turned into chicken lovin farmers. lol our 4 dogs 6 cats and 2 horses think we have lost our minds. Really cute coop! I love it

You should consider reinforcing the chicken wire with welded wire to keep raccoons and other critters out though, chicken wire isn't very strong unfortunately.
