Silkies as chicks or pullets

I can either get silkies as pullets, or as chicks. My Pet Chicken sexes their silkies, but I have heard that even then some will be male. Which one would be better to get, pullets, which or sure to females, or chicks, when some will be males? It would be easier to get them as pullets, but I don't know if they'll be as friendly if I get them as pullets.

They probably wont be as friendly, but if you get chicks you will probably have to rehome the roos. And then how many more will you have to buy? But it is so fun raising them as chicks.

My silkie hens and pullets are just the sweetest things. Remember a pullet is less than a year old, and they will warm up to you with TLC and become spoiled rotten in no time!
