silkies fly?

I'm brooding some chicks and due to a foot deformity in one of the silkies, I have separated and am brooding the three silkie chicks in the house in a banana box.
How long do I have until they can fly out?
The sides are nine inches tall.
The larger breed chicks BR and BA are in the other brooder. In order to not have to "reintroduce" them. I have been bringing them in separately in singles and pairs for short periods of time.
How long until the LB chicks can fly out of the banana box?
Right now all chicks are five days old.
