Silkies in New England

Hi everyone! First post here. You've helped me navigate my first 6 months owning chickens. Thanks for that! My question is, does anyone know where I can get a silkie hen in Eastern CT, SE MA or any of RI? I was fortunate to find 2 early spring, but one is a rooster and half the reason I've decided to invest so much time and money on our chickens is to have eggs to eat. Now I have a lovely rooster whom I don't particularly want to keep, and no way to find a friend for my girl when I find him a happy home.

My uncle has a buddy in Watertown CT with a large farm. He always told me that he would take any chicken I didnt want. Maybe I can look into it?
