Silkies in Virginia

I hatched some eggs this past summer from Marie Martin...and more hatched then I thought wouldso I am downsizing and thought I would start here. I don't think I can let my hubby butcher my silkies like our other "extra" chickens...and am in no REAL hurry to be rid of them just want to find them chicken homes....

1 Silkie dark Grey male
1 Silkie Splash male
possibly one black frizzle male (but I like him and haven't decided if I want to rid of him- but my frizzle females were eaten by a pesky cat)....

If you take my males for good homes they are free. I know no one ever wants males but maybe silkies are different. If you want a female with them I will sell them in pairs for best offer.

Sometimes you can have luck finding them pet homes, but if you have an asian market around and don't mind food homes, silkies are an asian delicacy if you really need to rid of them.

Sent you a PM....we head that way sometimes...don't know what halfway is but we head to halifax area fairly regularly.

Just let me know which male you are interested in....I have only 4 females and most of them are splash...the only real unique one is the splash buff one. I think the dark grey and the splash buff are the two unique ones- well other than the crazy frizzle....he thinks he is a big tough rooster!!

I just want my silkies to get a home and I have too many to give them proper one on one silkie attention like they deserve.
