Silkies Of A Different Color

Hi! I'm new to raising Silkies, and have 3 chicks of my own.
One looks blue, another looks blue partridge, and the 3rd looks almost lavender? At first I was thinking splash, but she doesn't seem to have splash markings.
Was hoping you could help!
Thanks so much!!!

Here are all 3

And here is our sweet mystery-colored chick!

I haven't posted in a while either. Here is a young bird I got when I bought my Buff breeding pair. It is the result of a Buff cock over a Splash hen. I have been told to call it a "Blue Grey" since it is genetically Blue(from the Splash).

That's about how old she is too, can't wait to see your pics!
I counted it up just before posting. Tomorrow, July 31st, Ping will be 12 wks old. When he/she was a tiny chick my DH said he/she looked like a Ping Pong ball on tooth pick legs

Here are a few poses of Ping taken about 3 days ago.

Finally has the blue ear lobes. At first they were just black and I was a bit worried about that.

Ping has brown pattern on the flight feathers

Can you see the two spots of red/brown color?

Ping has only gotten a crest in the past two weeks; was not domed.

What do you all think? Male or female? Sometimes I think male because of his/her long legs. But Poppa keeps this chick close to him and constantly feeds him/her, so sometimes I think female. Couldn't set Ping down for a picture or he/she would have taken off. Only time he/she gets close is if I'm feeding hard boiled egg.

What a cutie! Hard to tell if it's a roo or Pullet, when do silkies start crowing?? I took a few new pics of Scootalu today because more orange is showing through. I will attempt to post them (I'm on my phone).

Ok, I had to get the computer, my phone wouldn't post the pics. Take a look at the pics and let me know what color would you call Scootalu and if anyone has a guess on pullet or roo. And BJ you're right our chicks do look a like

I'm thinking your's is a roo. Leaning towards female for mine.

Dianne88, I would have to agree with B J. I have had several chicks similar in color and any of them that have copper color popping through the gray have been boys.
