I I'm thinking of starting a mille fleur silkie project and was wondering if mixing a buff silkie with a Mille fleur duccle would work

Should work they are both gold base. A porcelain x Lav silkie cross would be interesting.

Hi guys this is my new silkie I got from a back yard hobbisest, I'm struggling with her coloring....
Any guesses? Even if it's not a "color" can you explain it...???
Someone on the silkie thread told me she thought the chick was a buff with lavender leakage.... What do y'all think?
Here she is

The pictures don't don't do her justice, the best way for me to explain the color is sooty palomino (as in horse coloring) she has lavender type coloring on the bend of her wing, and under her neck and some on ther top knot, her wings feathers are coming in cream color

Her dad was a buff/lavender splash and the hen he was in with that the eggs came from were blue, splash and lavender splash

The top looks like splash but then the other wing pic makes it look like a silver partridge or splash partridge.
