Silkies Of A Different Color

Pics
I have a question. I have a silkie mix that I bought she appears to be mixed with something penciled. I mixed her over a black silkie roo. I hatched out four chicks and was wondering what color they will turn out 3 of them are normal feathers and 1 is silkie feathered. Here's some pics the chicks are a little bit older now though.

One of the chicks has a brown beard and I'd getting brown wing feathers also.

It will be so interesting to see how it colors. :D

I am really excited about how my chicks are growing out. They come from a dark blue hen and a porcelian roo. Pretty sure 3/4 are hens. Here are the three hens (fingers crossed) checking out my new lawn!

Here's a recent photo of the one I kept. She a week older than yours. How does her color compare? Yours are back lit so can't really tell. My girl is so sweet that I use her as my babysitter when the 5 week old chicks leave the house for the juvenile nursery. She turned 3 mos less than a week ago. Her father was the fastest maturing silkie I've ever seen. Looks like he's passing it on!

Two of mine look a lot like that with the porcelain color in the the hackles. The other two including the boy are all uniform lighter blue. Ill take more pics in the light on my next day off . I really live their color!

So interesting. I wish I understood genetics better! I'm pretty sure the mom is carrying the lav gene so I suppose they could be self-blue but they look too dark.
