Well with me, all I have is black and white but I have been mixing my black with whites and action ally been getting blues so when I got a white i thought it was a splash. But I guess I have a white hen with the silver gene.

breed your blue to vblue and you will get splash

They are all silver partridge or grey except for the last chick. Very cute chick but I don't know what color it is.

heres 2of the mix colored silkie chicks at alittle over a month and here is a 4 dasy old chick idk what color it will be , any ideas? it has thre black dots on its back.

Here is a picture of a silver partridge just getting the crest feathers in. Looks similar to your bird's crest, at least to me

Don't trust the color on those crest feathers until it sheds the pin tubes. My lavenders often look like they will have a black crest.

OK PeepBlessed, I won't! I love how the babies change so much - it seems like daily. Here are some pictures I took yesterday of my little green head (the head isn't so green anymore). There is a light blue gray coming in on her body and wings now.

ik that's what I was thinking. do you know if there's a genetic way of doing it with out mixing a polish or would I need to use my polish to get it??
