Silkies Of A Different Color

How about this color guys? Sonoran (our genetics and color expert) calls this blue buff Columbian. I think it sounds so exotic. I will probably mate him with these girls: (Not the dark gray one - I think she is too dark to mate with him) I already have the first batch of eggs spoken for but was wondering if anyone else might be interested?
I would. Could you PM me the info on them?:ya

I love them Fur and feathers, so happy your going to share the eggs!!
I will also have Columbia silkie project eggs for sale as well as Creole/cuckoo silkie and sizzles, and calico/millie sizzle project available next spring. If there's any interested?

Oh and 2 seperate polish frizzled Tolbunt pens from four different Tolbunt flocks. As well as frizzled Welsummers, frizzled marans and frizzled wheaton Americana all standard size chickens. Got a lot more pens to build!!!
Think it's time to put up a chicken barn:)

I love them! Would the buff columbian on the whitish columbian hens make light buff columbian? And I wonder what splash columbian would look like?

I don't know - it will be a project. My boy is only 6 months old yesterday as is the light gray pullet, and the other pullet (my little Green Head) is only slightly older.

Some of you that have been reading and viewing in this thread for a while might remember my little Green Head Pink Wings and have seen her grow up. For everyone else, I know a strange name for such a pretty little girl but she always had a greenish color to her head, then as she got older her pure white wings had a pinkish color to them. Now she has the dark blue collar so she will be mated with the blue buff Columbian cockerel to see if the color will reproduce.

I would be interested in the silkie eggs as well as the frizzled marans and welsummers. Could you pm me the info on pricing for all of them.

Deb isn't breeding any more; hasn't for a couple of years :( She was breeding paints, and I was able to get this handsome fellow because of his colouring; she was breeding for regular, white background paints. Deb was president of the silkie club for a number of years, and bred some awesome birds: buff, lavender, white, black, paint.
