Hello, I just joined the forum. Just got into Silkies. Don't know how to post, do not know how to insert photos. MUST Learn. And how do you get to take such pictures. I don't know how to do that either. DON"T KNOW MUCH. Aria​

The body must be either a very dilute blue or more likely a splash. Lavender dilutes both red and black pigment, so dark red means that the bird is not pure lav. (It could be Lav+/lav)
 
sonoran silkies, could you show how the mottled bird looks? i mean silkie version

I have 2 chicks that i guess will be quail - mother is quail half-silkie, and those 2 little roos are showing pattern on their feathers just like her, i will try to make some photos, they are few weeks old now. new colors are so interesting
