Silkies Of A Different Color

That one I posted has been a huge question mark for me. I've been so confused as to how it ended up looking like it does I cna't remember really if it was a sizzle or silkie egg. Either way it could have gotten mismarked but the wings just has me bumfuzzled. He can actually fly.
If the egg was marked sizzle it could be Moe's egg and the partridge roo could have bred her because there was a time when I let the 2 pens out at the same time. But from what I saw the roos kept their girls with them. But after a while, Moe started hangng out with the partridge silkies.
Now if it was a silkie it would have been marked partridge and if thats the case I have no idea how the chick turned out the way it did. He's not the only one either. There are a couple of my customers that have a chick like this one and I gave one away too.

I have eggs in my bator now that the hens would not have been exposed to any other roo other than the ones in their pens. So I'll find out if this is a genetic thing or Moe going over to the other side and cheating on M.J.

Thought I would post a pic of what you get when a Salmon silkie ( Mr McSilkie to be exact) decides to go visiting on the Splash side of the tracks!

This boy has a beautiful tail. Nice and even and round, lots of fluff and puff. Lovely!

Thanks Donna, you going to Crossroads or Ohio this year?
