So, I recently bought 4 silkies off of a local who said that 2 were from a hatchery (the all white roo and hen) which are 1 year; and two he bred himself which are brother and sister who are 6 months (the tri roo and black and white hen). The white hen and rooster do not have ANY feathering on their legs what so ever, and the rooster seems to be a bit big. However they have black/blue skin, five toes etc. The Black and white hen and tri-colored rooster have feathered feet, blue skin, five toes etc, I'm just not familiar with their markings on silkies. I'm new to silkies, the ones I have are currently 3 months (a black and a blue) and 3 weeks (2 white and a silver partridge) so I'm not sure what to look for. But the roosters have 2 totally different types of combs, and comb color as well. I'm convinced that some are mixed, I'm just not sure which, or if any....someone help please!
*Oh, I just noticed I do not have any good ones of my white hen, though she is identical to my large white rooster, comb and all! (just smaller) She lays though, so she is indeed a hen
Here is three of the four
