Silkies - please help

Hi im new here. Wonder if any one can help sex my silkies. They are 13 weeks. Thank you

One on the right - i think girl?

This one has a tiny pea on its nose??

They are so cute! okay first thing i will warn you on silkies is they are notorious for being hard to sex. Some REALLY fool you till they either crow or lay an egg.

*usually* cockerels get this swept back head feathering kinda like a man's greased back hairdo, streamers shall we say, whereas pullets have a pom pom head..

The third is rather hard to tell at that angle, so it i am unsure of would need a better head shot, the others tending to agree with you on those guesses.


For some comparisons, mind you older birds but that helps 'see' what one is looking for.

First two are pullets and last group of fluff all cockerels lol

Thank you so much for replies - love the pic of the trio of boys. I do have a soft spot for the cockerels. Such beauties. Here is another shot of the black one. What do you think to the blues ones streamers - or are these not streamers??This one was taken a week or so ago?
