I think if you had a roo, the black comb would be quite visable by now. I think you have 2 pullets. You have big Bertha and Tweetie!

they clean themselves with dirt bath, weird huh youd think theyd get dirtier.

I'd say girls but IMHO I think silkies are notorious for keeping you guessing so there isn't much point trying!!
We have a white Roo who was called Mimi for several months as we thought he was a scruffy pullet... turns out he was a VERY young boy. 6 months later he has started crowing. We also have two white silkies who we were very unsure as to their sexes as both of their fro's were very upright.... we are now very sure they are both girls as they both laid.... then brooded on the battery girls eggs. We gave them some fertile light sussex eggs and they are now both mama hens!!

Moral of the story.... until it starts crowing or laying egss.... i think a silkies sex is never certain
