Hi all,
I'm just trying to get some input from other members here who are familiar with some of the better lines of silkies, seramas, Mille Fleur D'uccle &also Mottled D'uccle as to who has the best. This could be a fellow BYC member or someone who is not. Thanks

In my opinion (and I'm sure there are many others), I think George Mihalik has the best Silkies. JMO.

I agree that George does have some beautiful silkies and he was actually one of the first people I looked into but he seems to sell a very limited amount and does not seem to sell eggs, chicks, or started birds.

Ondra thanks for the info on Jerry with the seramas. I'll check him out.

Ok. He is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. He originally imported seramas.

Many breeders do not regularly sell eggs or chicks. George will occasionally sell chicks (never eggs). He does not breed to sell; he breeds for exhibition, and sells extras that do not fit his needs.

I used PICTURE PERFECT POULTRY. the lady is super nice.

I got three to hatch and they look like Serama right out of the egg short legs and grew into typey chicks.

don't know what type they will grow out to be but if they are nice I'll get some more from her and maybe order a pair from Jerry.

They are only a few months old and going throw a ugly stage.. but I don't think you have to guess what breed they are.

George does sell chicks & started birds when he has a big hatch. He just doesn't sell eggs.
