Do you have a good picture of your suspected roo?
Not really, runs like crazy all the time or gifs under the Brahmas. Here’s today’s best shot. I’ll grab Winifred in the morning and snap better ones. Edited for spelling

Ok, "Cull Bill" wasn't thriving in the bachelor pad with the other two dominant cockerels his smile is the major reason why he got moved there in the first place, and DW wants him back in the main pen. Bill was always a calm and watchful type who was never in the middle of any drama. He is usually the first to call an alarm to the flock when a raptor is near.

Here he is back in August at 4 months of age and pre-haircut. We reviewed the pictures we had posted earlier and for me it is his perfect walnut comb and those opaline blue ears that got me to agree to return him to the flock even though he is hard feathered. His Gold and Brown feathering pattern over white is also another reason why he shoudn't be a genetic dead end. So it is now 3 cockerels & 11 pullets at 7.5 months of age in the main pen.

I do see some streamers on the back of his/her head.
Better pictures will be great.
This morning’s photos of Winifred. Added Some of Nugget (the buff) as well. Nugget stays with the other girls, Winifred (the one in question) just does its own thing.

I think you only need to wait another 4-5 weeks and those head streamers and hackle feathers will give you the correct answer.

Nevermind about the streamers I thought I saw in the first pictures, getting better pictures like this helps, Winifred is a pullets as far as I can see right now. Nugget the buff on the other hand has the streamers coming in which says it's a Cockerel.

Well here is where one of my silkies cockerels is at 7.5 months of age. I mention him as he does have streamers I do not trim that part of the silkie as it doesn't interfere with their vision. Streamers are impossible to detect on him, but the hackle feathers are very well defined. I chose this photo as he is the same feathering type as your Nugget @Rshumpal . He does look good wish I could see his(Nugget) comb, but those ears say he is a keeper to me. Is there any chance you can get a photo of Nugget walking to see how the tail feathers are carried? Winifred carries herself like a pullet on her feet.
