I love all these adorable silkies.

We only have one, Little Solo. I think she is a she....any thoughts? She was the only one to hatch out of 22 eggs on labor day weekend. She is the sweetest most gentle little angel. If she is indicative of the breed I can see why they are so popular.

Here she was a wee lass

And this was her this evening.

She is in with some Blue and Black Ameraucanas, so that should be an interesting group of chicklets down the road.

Here are two kids i hatched from some of Tom's Kentucky Silkie hatching eggs. Peepers and Cheepers are four months old now and just the sweetest little kids. i've had them living in the house as it's a bit chilly outside. Plus, i just like having them around. They may end up being house chickens. i think i've got two girls here.

I had to give them up TODAY because he is crowing all the time.
