do all silkies have BIG EYES?

seems like my silkies have way bigger eyes then my BO or BR chicks did...

I think its sorta weird at first but mine are about 4 wks maybe?

(I bought mine when they were about two weeks)

And their growing into it!

I think their eyes just look bigger because they're all black.

I just discovered my 7 wk old buff silkie is growing wattles the same mulberry color as his comb. Does that mean for sure it's a roo? Do female hatchery silkies grow wattles at 7 wks?

My black silkie who is the same age still has a flat black comb. Not raised at all and no wattles. Does that mean it may be a hen or slow to develop?
 
Sooo here are pics from tonight of my silkies...they are growing on me...I'm pretty sure one or the other is a roo...what do you think??? (see text on pics...hope it's not too small to read?)

I'm still guessing cockerel on the single combed one. The other is still debateable. The light toes on the one are just a defect. I have a splash rooster that throws them on a regular basis. About 90% of the time they go away and get to be normal colored just like the rest.

Don't worry, they do outgrow this awkward stage.
