silkies wanted

I am from Cleves, Ohio. right on the ohio river and Indiana borders. I am interested in a few silkie pullets to add to my flock. anyone know where I can get them? Thanks

You can look on the swap page for your area...and if you don't find anything there you can always look at online/mail order hatchery's. One such hatchery is Murray McMurray Hatchery which deals with a variety of silkie breeds. This hatchery has come very highly recommended by many people who I know. The only problem with ordering from this supplier, and with many online/mail order providers, is that you are required to order a minimum quantity and chicks are only available during specific times of the year. For example, you will likely have to order more than twenty silkies...and I'm not sure when they will be available. If your interested I would start checking their website as soon as possible...
