silkies with back/purple skin

i have several 2 and 3 month old silkies. some have blackish skin and some have pale skin. does this mean that some are true and some are not? they all came from same parents. also some have the wirey feathers and some have lay down type? new to silkies but i like them alot.

Can you post photos? Not all silkies have black skin, many have slate coloured skin. The darker skin seems to go with blacker feather colouring.

However, I can't tell from your description if the skin is slate or pink/white? The later would make the silkie pet quality, while the former is normal.

As to the feathering, can you post a photo? Might they be frizzled?
