Silkies with no top knots!

x2 Imagine Marsha has a crest and and pouf! Suddenly that head looks just like a silkie's should.

Exactly. Try this..cover up the top of her head with your finger and she looks just like a silkie

They all look like Silkies to me except Marsha... I dont think it is mixed, though. Maybe just a genetic mutation, but not in a ugly way! I think s/he is cute, and would be a unique addition to a flock.

Thanks! I think she is pretty cute too. I don't plan on using any of them for breeding, so I won't be creating any more mutants

I just wish she and Veronica were more friendly. BTW, is it normal for them to sound like doggy squeeky toys, instead of chickens? They don't really chirp, and when I try to hold them, instead of making the normal "squawking"noise that chicks make, they literally sound like squeeky toys! The Partridges do this too, but since they don't freak out as bad, they don't make as much noise. None of my standards now, and in the past, have sounded like this. It's really weird.

Mine never did that, but it could be just another wierd but interesting thing to add to the Silkie lists. The only way I know of helping them 'warm up' to you is to play with them alot and give them treats... I would personallytry to spend a little more time with them. Just to get them to like you more.
