Silkies With Wry Neck

I have a silky/ie who has Wry Neck. I got her from an auction, and her old owner said that my chicken (Ella) had it since she first arrived. She is 6 weeks old, and Ella wont take it from the dropper. Help!?!?!

Is she eating or drinking? yes. She is drinking from an eye dropper, and i scattered food on the ground for her to eat.

Is she able to drink from a container on her own? no, she cant lift her head high enough

What are you feeding her? medicated chick feed.

she can lift her head on her own, but she cant hold it up for long.

You could put the vitamins in the water. You could even drop them on the chick feed.
Are you keeping her inside?

Yes, she is inside, we do have the vitamin packs that you buy from the hatcheries, and i have been putting that into her water. Sorry it took so long to reply, I was petting Ella. She is away from the other group of chicks we have inside, and right now, her head is totally normal. She does that for about 25 seconds every hour, then she puts her head back down normal

Sounds like you are doing everything you can for her. There might be someone around who has dealt with this problem.
Sometimes chickens aren't perfect but can get along in life in the right conditions! Good luck with her.
